This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist in leading the conceptualization, design, and implementation of impactful creative work across campaigns, events, digital experiences, social media, and brand initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Take ownership of selected projects from start to finish, overseeing project management, ideation, creative direction, and execution to delivery—driving timelines, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring outstanding quality across all deliverables.
• Create and refine scalable visual systems and design frameworks that enhance brand consistency while allowing flexibility across various channels and product lines.
• Convert complex product narratives and technical concepts into clear, engaging, and visually striking storytelling tailored for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate across functions with marketing, product, web, and content teams to shape creative strategies and deliver cohesive, integrated experiences at all touchpoints.
• Work alongside the web team to influence and enhance the visual experience on SmartBear’s corporate and product websites, ensuring top-notch user experience and brand representation.
• Serve as a brand steward and advocate, ensuring that all creative outputs not only adhere to but also evolve SmartBear’s visual identity and standards.
• Handle multiple high-priority projects concurrently, balancing speed, quality, and strategic alignment in a dynamic environment.
• Over 5 years of experience in graphic design or creative roles, with a robust portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and execution across various channels.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma; experience with motion or video is a plus.
• Strong grasp of brand systems, visual storytelling, and integrated campaign development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, influence creative direction, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capability to articulate creative rationale and align teams around a shared vision.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in multi-product or B2B technology environments is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent professional experience.
