Senior Court Operations Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop, execute, and oversee projects for the Dependency Court Improvement Program.

• Manage and guide staff involved in technical assistance activities for problem-solving courts.

• Assess and propose strategies for the effective delivery of dependency court services.

• Organize, facilitate, and lead training sessions for judges, court personnel, and child welfare partners.

• Assist in managing grant outputs, budgeting, and contractual obligations.

• Create and uphold collaborative partnerships with judges, magistrates, court staff, child welfare collaborators, clerks, attorneys, and the community.

• Engage in interagency task forces to enhance court processes and services for children and families.

• Provide project management oversight for federal initiatives aimed at improving dependency courts.

• Support the Dependency Court Improvement Panel and the Steering Committee on Families and Children in the Court.

• Supervise technical assistance efforts for dependency problem-solving courts.

• Directly oversee staff performance and project tasks.

• Foster continuous quality improvement initiatives within the Dependency Court Improvement Program.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, court/judicial administration, court/judicial management, business management, legal studies, or a closely related field.

• A minimum of six years of pertinent work experience.

• At least two years of supervisory or managerial experience.

• Additional relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the recommended educational qualifications on a year-for-year basis.

• Additional relevant educational qualifications may be considered as a substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis, excluding supervisory experience.

• A complete and accurate online application profile with detailed information regarding employment and qualifications.

• Successful completion of fingerprinting and a satisfactory criminal background check.

• U.S. citizenship or lawful authorization to work in the United States.

• Willingness to undergo reasonable suspicion drug testing in compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act.
