Senior Corrugator Training and Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver training and support to the corrugator teams across the organization.

• Assist the plants in implementing Safe Working Practices and maintaining a clean, injury-free workplace.

• Aid in the initiation and development of new corrugator projects and startups.

• Engage in planning discussions regarding capital investments and equipment considerations.

• Assess, develop, and establish preventative maintenance practices and standards for corrugators.

• Familiarity with steam systems and troubleshooting heat-related issues in corrugators.

• Understanding of corrugator adhesives and their distribution systems.

• Knowledge of the mechanical systems related to corrugators.

• Awareness of quality control systems and OEM machine control systems.

• Willingness to travel to various PCA corrugator facilities as needed to assist with capital projects or improvement initiatives.

• Analyze cause, frequency, and downtime metrics.

• Conduct downtime analysis and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to enhance PM processes.

• Offer insights to the Production Manager and Area Operations Manager regarding the performance of the corrugator team.

• Assess issues related to productivity, reliability, and capability while providing constructive feedback.

• Prior supervisory and leadership experience in corrugator operations.

• Experience in coaching, training, team building, and performance management.

• High School Diploma is mandatory.
