This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Assist Salesforce’s South East Asia and India Sales teams in structuring, negotiating, and finalizing intricate commercial technology agreements.
• Offer legal counsel in a dynamic, high-growth setting.
• Lead, mentor, and provide support to members of the legal team.
• Negotiate and finalize government contracts.
• Review, negotiate, draft, and manage turnaround times on significant agreements.
• Deliver prompt, business-savvy legal advice.
• Collaborate closely with sales, privacy, and security teams to ensure efficient deal execution.
• Counsel on contract disputes, bid challenges, and regulatory inquiries.
• Identify and implement process enhancements for streamlined contracting.
• Create training materials and present business-oriented legal training.
• At least 9 years of legal experience.
• Extensive experience in supporting intricate commercial technology transactions.
• Strong background in public sector contracting in India.
• Proven success in negotiating and closing high-value commercial technology transactions.
• Experience collaborating with Indian government ministries, PSUs, statutory boards, or public sector organizations.
• Outstanding contract negotiation, drafting, and analytical abilities.
• Experience in commercial contracting within highly regulated sectors.
• Keen interest in emerging technologies and evolving technology-driven business models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in leadership and people management is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with demanding internal clients.
