Senior Corporate Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide legal counsel on compliance matters, channel and partner distribution agreements, as well as sales and public sector contracts.

• Ensure adherence to local laws and regulations that impact sales and public sector activities.

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts pertaining to channel partners and public sector organizations.

• Offer guidance on compliance issues related to sales practices and public sector procurement processes.

• Monitor regulatory developments and evaluate their implications for business operations.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to establish compliance training programs and policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited or recognized institution.

• Minimum of 8 years of combined experience in law firms and in-house legal roles within a global public company.

• Preferred experience with internet or technology companies.

• Desirable knowledge and experience in general intellectual property and technology licensing, antitrust, marketing, privacy, data security, and compliance matters.

• Relevant experience concerning channel and partner operations, including Value-Added Distributors (VADs), Value-Added Resellers (VARs), and other distribution-related agreements.

• Experience in public sector and government-related sales.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional judgment and creativity.

• Capability to manage ambiguity and perform well under pressure.
