Senior Copywriter – 9-Month Maternity Cover Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of content and storytelling for web pages, white papers, sales materials, presentation decks, and social media content.

• Produce written materials regarding x-hoppers’ products and their significance in relation to industry trends, such as brochures, blog articles, video scripts, and sales materials.

• Create narratives that highlight x-hoppers’ features, advantages, and value propositions for retail audiences.

• Develop presentation decks for sales presentations, product demonstrations, vendor briefings, and industry conferences.

• Compose social media content for campaigns, events, and ongoing initiatives, while also briefing the Creative team on visuals.

• Generate copy for email campaigns, landing pages, and social media to promote x-hoppers at industry events.

• Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimize content and enhance web traffic.

• Collect product insights and customer stories from the Product, Sales, and Tech teams.

• Utilize AI tools like Gemini to draft outlines and expedite content creation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand voice.

• Review and edit content for precision, clarity, and compliance with brand guidelines.

• Contribute to the content strategy and maintain progress records for seamless handover.

• Work in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Tech teams to produce precise, on-brand narratives for both UK and US retail audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a senior B2B copywriter or content strategist, preferably within SaaS, UCaaS, or retail technology sectors.

• A robust portfolio showcasing long-form content, sales materials, and presentation decks.

• Exceptional storytelling abilities with a knack for translating technical features into clear customer benefits.

• Experience crafting B2B social media content, particularly for LinkedIn.

• Solid understanding of SEO copywriting and the ability to work from SEO briefs.

• Practical experience with AI writing tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot.

• Keen editing and proofreading skills with a strong emphasis on accuracy and avoiding overstatements.

• Proficiency in writing in both British and US English.

• Confidence in collaborating with technical experts and various stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.

• Availability to commence on 1 February 2027 for the full 9-month contract.

• A portfolio or link to work samples is required with the application.
