Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.

📋 Description

• Develop engaging and informative content for targeted Reddit communities as well as Jerry’s specific subreddits.

• Create both long-form and short-form copy utilizing a genuine Reddit-native tone, along with appropriate formatting and structure.

• Compose timely, context-rich responses to community comments and questions.

• Experiment with narrative hooks, post formats, TL;DRs, bullet-point summaries, case studies, and optimal posting times.

• Produce search-optimized Reddit content aimed at being indexed by Google and serving as reference material for AI models.

• Collaborate with the Content, SEO, and Product teams to transform company insights into Reddit-centric copy.

• Simplify complex financial and automotive subjects into captivating Reddit discussions.

• Foster long-term brand value through clear, high-quality writing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Reddit user with a comprehensive portfolio of Reddit writing samples.

• Familiarity with Reddit post formatting and the subtleties of its subcultures.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in copywriting.

• Demonstrated ability to write both short and long-form content.

• Ideally experienced in fintech, insurtech, automotive, or consumer technology fields.

• Capable of translating intricate topics in insurance, finance, automotive, and maintenance into understandable and practical prose.

• Proficient in creating educational, relatable, and valuable content rather than aggressive marketing copy.

• Skilled in accepting and integrating feedback from internal teams and external comments.

• Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada.

• Required to submit a resume along with a LinkedIn Profile URL.
