Senior Converting Training and Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver training and assistance to the converting teams across the organization.

• Report directly to the Director of Process Technology.

• Provide support to the Process Technology Team and aid in Capital Projects.

• Create and uphold Safe Working Practices, ensuring a clean and injury-free workplace.

• Assist with new flexo and RDC projects as well as their startups.

• Engage in planning discussions regarding capital planning and equipment considerations.

• Assess, develop, and implement PM practices and standards.

• Analyze cause/frequency/downtime metrics.

• Conduct DT analysis and RCFA analysis to enhance PM processes.

• Offer insights to the Production Manager and Area Operations Manager regarding the converting Team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior supervisory and leadership experience in converting operations.

• Experience in coaching, training, team building, and performance management.

• High School Diploma is required.

• Strong analytical, mechanical, and organizational abilities.

• Proficient working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.

• In-depth understanding of maintenance for corrugated and packaging equipment.

• Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing systems, including commonly used software.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of communicating effectively with individuals at all levels, from operators to executives.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to lead and communicate with a diverse team to achieve complex objectives.
