This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Prepare, evaluate, negotiate, and oversee MSAs, SOWs, amendments and change orders, NDAs, teaming agreements, software/SaaS/technology agreements, vendor and subcontractor agreements, as well as agreements related to healthcare services.
• Direct contract negotiations with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and business collaborators.
• Assess contractual risks and formulate strategies for risk mitigation.
• Clarify contract terms and provide counsel to legal, contracts, and business stakeholders regarding rights, obligations, and compliance obligations.
• Partner with U.S.-based contract managers, attorneys, and business leaders to address legal, commercial, operational, and compliance challenges.
• Assist in proposal, bid, and procurement processes, including contract evaluations for RFPs and governmental healthcare opportunities.
• Oversee contracts to ensure adherence to corporate policies, relevant laws, healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and contracting protocols.
• Keep precise contract records utilizing contract lifecycle management systems.
• Monitor contractual commitments, deliverables, renewals, notifications, and expiration timelines.
• Educate and support internal stakeholders on contract procedures and risk management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree is desirable.
• 15–18 years of experience in contracts management, legal operations, or related domains.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. contract law, regulatory compliance, and principles of risk management.
• Capability to independently evaluate, negotiate, and manage intricate agreements.
• Skill in identifying, interpreting, and summarizing contractual provisions and articulating legal and business implications to non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, decision-making, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in analyzing and summarizing complex contracts with limited oversight.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, including interactions with U.S.-based executives and legal professionals.
• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities and meet stringent deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment.
• Preferred: experience in supporting U.S. healthcare, healthcare technology, managed care, health plans, or Medicaid-related contracts.
• Preferred: understanding of healthcare privacy, data security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Preferred: experience with U.S. state government contracts, healthcare procurements, or large-scale outsourcing agreements.
• Preferred: experience in a multinational or global organization supporting U.S.-based operations.
• Proven skills in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Ability to independently interpret contracts and identify issues.
