Senior Content Writer, Adoptions and Proposals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive the content strategy and collaborate with Assessment and Instruction Subject Matter Experts.

• Foster and sustain relationships with Subject Matter Experts while engaging in cross-functional work groups.

• Create clear and precise boilerplate content for RFPs and state-level solicitations.

• Take ownership of significant content development and maintenance projects.

• Curate, structure, and organize i-Ready content within Qvidian.

• Implement extensive content refresh initiatives.

• Deliver content-specific training and updates on solutions and emerging trends.

• Guide and provide informal coaching to Content Writers and contributors on proposal style, messaging, and evidence-based storytelling.

• Lead and contribute to complex, program-specific proposals and rubrics.

• Act as section lead or overall content lead on intricate, multi-product, or high-value proposals and rubrics.

• Collaborate with Proposal Management and Proposal Writing teams to strategize and write content, shape win themes, and align with evaluation criteria.

• Adaptively support the Adoptions & Proposals team and company objectives through various tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal content development, preferably within the K-12 education or publishing sector.

• At least 3 years of experience in the K-12 educational publishing or edtech industry.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives about assessment and instruction product solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize content according to departmental standards.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, respond to varied constituencies, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.

• Proficiency in Claude, Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, and other standard business applications.

• Familiarity with Qvidian is an advantage.

• Knowledge of the i-Ready Assessment and Personalized Instruction product suite is beneficial.

• A deep understanding of assessment and psychometrics is a plus.
