Manager, Medical Writing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of medical writers to create high-quality, scientifically accurate documents that support clinical trials.

• Manage the medical writing team by providing guidance and oversight.

• Supervise the preparation of clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, protocols, investigator brochures, and other clinical documents.

• Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and project management teams.

• Ensure all documents adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal standards.

• Monitor project timelines and deliverables to guarantee on-time completion and submission.

• Enhance writing processes and templates by applying best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in life sciences, health sciences, or a related field is preferred, along with significant experience in medical writing within the pharmaceutical or clinical research sectors.

• Demonstrated experience in managing medical writing teams and overseeing the development of regulatory and clinical documents.

• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements, clinical trial processes, and scientific writing best practices.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with the capacity to clearly and accurately convey complex scientific concepts.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a track record of managing multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery.

• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive, with a dedication to upholding the highest standards in medical writing.
