This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the strategy, roadmap, and editorial vision for impactful content initiatives that align with Motive’s branding, target audience, and pipeline goals.
• Manage intricate, full-funnel content initiatives from identifying opportunities and creating strategic briefs to production, distribution, optimization, and performance measurement.
• Create and lead content programs that prioritize the needs of customers and experts through executive interviews, discussions with subject matter experts, customer research, user-generated content, and peer-to-peer contributions.
• Leverage data from content, audience engagement, and business performance to discover opportunities, prioritize resource allocation, enhance distribution and reuse, and showcase content’s impact on brand and pipeline objectives.
• Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on messaging, audience strategies, content choices, and program priorities.
• Identify overarching content deficiencies and develop scalable, AI-driven solutions to enhance content quality, speed, consistency, and measurable effectiveness.
• Foster relationships with product marketing managers, campaign teams, demand generation, customer marketing, communications, SEO, branding, sales, and executive stakeholders.
• Oversee the content aspects of cross-functional initiatives, including annual research reports, event-related content, and blogs for product launches.
• Ensure quality and adherence to timelines with minimal supervision.
• Establish editorial criteria and enhance the quality and tone of Motive’s external content.
• Minimum of 6 years in B2B content marketing, or equivalent experience in communications, journalism, or a related field.
• A robust portfolio showcasing full-funnel, enterprise-level thought leadership, research, customer success stories, and other customer-centric content.
• Proven track record of leading a content function, portfolio, or significant program from strategy formulation and prioritization through to execution, distribution, measurement, and ongoing enhancement.
• Outstanding writing and editing capabilities.
• Proficient in transforming technical and data-intensive subjects into engaging and accessible narratives.
• Competent in designing content ecosystems that align audience needs, funnel stages, formats, channels, and business objectives.
• Experience conducting interviews with executives and subject matter experts and converting those discussions into high-quality, impactful content.
• Skilled in creating distinct content derived from proprietary data, customer insights, executive viewpoints, or specialized knowledge.
• Strong strategic insight and the ability to pinpoint program-level opportunities, navigate trade-offs, and provide clarity in complex, cross-functional settings.
• Knowledge of physical operations, fleet management, or the transportation sector is advantageous.
• Must possess authorization to receive and access commodities and technologies governed by U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
