This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of the reporting strategy and the development of reports by collaborating closely with senior team members to achieve client goals.

• Create content, which involves writing and editing reports, disclosures, and other related documents.

• Aid in conducting gap assessments, benchmarking activities, reporting strategy initiatives, and disclosure reviews to assist clients in enhancing their sustainability performance and reporting results.

• Complete assigned tasks punctually, within budgetary constraints, and with outstanding quality to ensure that projects fulfill or surpass their targets and deadlines.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, each with its own team, while overseeing timelines, workflows, and budgets, and proactively identifying and addressing risks to project success.

• Demonstrate a comprehension of both voluntary and mandatory disclosure strategies, various reporting frameworks, rating agencies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in reporting.

• Contribute to the deliverables of reporting strategy projects, including gap analysis for raters and frameworks, benchmarking, and analysis of reporting trends.

• Assist clients in collecting data and information, translating essential sustainability messages into formats suitable for various target audiences (e.g., investor reporting frameworks, ESG rating platforms, regulators, customer surveys, employees, etc.).

• Help articulate sustainability programs and performance into clear, audience-appropriate messaging for investors, regulators, customers, employees, and other stakeholders.

• Integrate and utilize ESG data management tools and software solutions effectively.

• Participate in proposals, client presentations, and other business development initiatives.

• Support the expansion of scope and new opportunities with existing clients by identifying their needs and assisting in the development of solutions.

• Provide ideas, research, and market insights to advance Anthesis' sustainability reporting and disclosure services.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a sustainability practitioner, with direct involvement in leading or supporting corporate sustainability reporting and disclosure initiatives.

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of sustainability/ESG issues, related reporting trends, and frameworks, with the capability to identify and communicate opportunities for enhancing sustainability disclosure and performance.

• Proficient in some or all of the following disclosures: CDP, S&P Global CSA (DJSI), MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, and EcoVadis.

• Expertise in the following reporting standards or frameworks: GRI, IFRS/ISSB, SASB, and TCFD.

• Familiarity with current and forthcoming ESG disclosure requirements, including CSRD, SFDR, ISSB, and California Climate Disclosure Rules.

• Experience with Workiva for report development is advantageous.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work collaboratively and flexibly within virtual teams.

• A strategic thinker possessing strong communication skills and a commitment to client service.

• Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently with meticulous attention to detail.
