This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in executing the reporting strategy and managing report development projects, collaborating closely with senior colleagues to fulfill client objectives.

• Create content by writing and refining reports, disclosures, and other related materials.

• Aid in gap assessments, benchmarking initiatives, reporting strategy projects, and disclosure evaluations to enhance clients' sustainability performance and reporting outcomes.

• Complete assigned tasks punctually, within budget, and with outstanding quality to ensure projects meet or surpass targets and deadlines.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, each with its own team, while overseeing timelines, workflows, and budgets, proactively identifying and addressing risks to project success.

• Demonstrate an understanding of both voluntary and mandatory disclosure strategies, various reporting frameworks, rating agencies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in reporting.

• Assist with reporting strategy project deliverables, including gap analyses for raters and frameworks, benchmarking, and analyses of reporting trends.

• Help clients collect data and information, translating crucial sustainability messages into formats suitable for diverse target audiences (e.g., investor reporting frameworks, ESG rating platforms, regulators, customer surveys, employees, etc.).

• Aid in converting sustainability programs and performance into clear messaging that resonates with investors, regulators, customers, employees, and other stakeholders.

• Integrate and utilize ESG data management tools and software solutions.

• Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and various business development initiatives.

• Support scope expansions and new opportunities with existing clients by identifying their needs and assisting in developing solutions.

• Provide ideas, research, and market insights to advance Anthesis' sustainability reporting and disclosure services.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a sustainability practitioner, with direct involvement in leading or supporting corporate sustainability reporting and disclosure efforts.

• Knowledge and comprehension of sustainability/ESG issues and relevant reporting trends, drivers, and frameworks, with the capability to identify and express opportunities for enhancing sustainability disclosure and performance.

• Proficiency in some or all of the following disclosures: CDP, S&P Global CSA (DJSI), MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, and EcoVadis.

• Expertise in the following reporting standards or frameworks: GRI, IFRS/ISSB, SASB, and TCFD.

• Familiarity with current and upcoming ESG disclosure requirements, including CSRD, SFDR, ISSB, and California Climate Disclosure Rules.

• Experience with Workiva for report development is advantageous.

• Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working collaboratively and flexibly with remote teams.

• A strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong client service orientation.

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with a keen attention to detail.
