Senior Consultant, SAP S/4HANA – Precisely Evolve / Automate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the Precisely Evolve platform, encompassing workflows, forms, contribution and approval tasks, along with Automate Studio scripts that interface with SAP.

• Develop, sustain, and manage version control for Automate scripts related to material master data, plant extensions, BOMs, routings, purchasing info records, pricing, and sales kits.

• Guide the current Evolve resource and engage in knowledge transfer from the original architect.

• Diagnose and resolve production data-load failures during the hypercare phase and in steady state.

• Identify load errors linked to upstream MDM data, the integration layer, or SAP APIs and transactions.

• Collaborate with SAP MM, PP, and SD functional consultants, along with business super-users, to establish field mappings, defaults, and validation rules.

• Provide support for Evolve platform production operations and ensure dependable data-load execution.

• Work together with the Precisely EnterWorks MDM team and the webMethods integration team on export-to-load handoffs and file pickups.

• Manage issue resolution across data, integration, and SAP layers.

• Implement change control measures to ensure production changes are reviewed, tested, and documented.

• Create and update architecture documentation, workflow catalogues, script inventories, and operational runbooks.

• Facilitate knowledge transfer and lessen reliance on the original platform architect.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in SAP data management.

• More than 5 years of practical experience with Precisely Evolve and Automate Studio, previously known as Winshuttle Foundation and Studio.

• Designed and implemented Evolve solutions as the lead or architect, with a minimum of two full-cycle implementations.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA material master, covering views, plant and sales-organization extensions, units of measure, classification, BOMs, routings, and purchasing info records.

• Proficient in Automate Studio transaction and query scripts, Excel-based workflow forms, and troubleshooting BAPI and transaction-recording errors.

• Supported Evolve through at least one S/4HANA go-live and hypercare period.

• Experienced with upstream MDM/PIM data feeds and middleware-driven integration, such as webMethods.

• Methodical in approach to change control, versioning, and documentation.

• Strong communication skills with business users and capacity to work independently in a multi-vendor setting.

• Available during US Eastern business hours, with weekend availability during load and testing periods.

• Must be US-based, located in the Eastern or Central time zone.

• Preferred: Hands-on experience with Precisely EnterWorks or a similar MDM/PIM solution.

• Preferred: Experience in data migration from a legacy ERP like Infor M3 to S/4HANA, including cutover extract loads.

• Preferred: Familiarity with upstream PLM data sources like Centric PLM and parent-child product structures.

• Preferred: Knowledge of SAP variant configuration (AVC) material data in a make-to-order setting.

• Preferred: Background in consumer products, apparel, footwear, or sporting goods.

• Preferred: Certification in Precisely or Winshuttle.
