Senior Consultant SAP Procurement, SAP Ariba – German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• You provide guidance and support to our clients in digitizing their purchasing processes, assisting them in implementing these transformations using strategically important SAP technologies such as next-gen SAP Ariba.

• Alongside your team, you will enhance the client's end-to-end purchasing workflows.

• You will oversee (sub-)projects aimed at transitioning existing systems to a new SAP Ariba environment.

• In this position, you will manage the complete project lifecycle: from conducting the Fit-2 standard analysis to developing a roadmap and executing the rollout of the new system.

• As an innovator, you anticipate our clients' needs and actively contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our team's offerings, with a focus on establishing next-gen Ariba.

• You will play a role in positioning our consulting services in the market, identifying prospects, and pursuing them with the support of your mentor.

• Collaborate with IT and business colleagues to devise solutions for specific challenges, sometimes utilizing existing solutions and systems.

• Cultivate professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure the successful delivery of proposed solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed university degree with over 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a management consultancy.

• You possess consulting experience in SAP implementation or optimization projects within SAP procurement, and ideally, you have led initial projects in the S/4HANA or Ariba ecosystem.

• You have system knowledge in one or more of the following areas: SAP Ariba Guided Buying, SAP Ariba Sourcing, SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Management, and S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement.

• A strong understanding of cross-functional purchasing processes and experience with AI-supported solutions, or a keen interest in developing such solutions is essential.

• You have analytical and conceptual skills, paired with an understanding of the feasibility of technical requirements.

• You proactively advance topics and demonstrate initiative to contribute to the team's development.

• A willingness to expand your skills to include other SAP solutions in purchasing in the future is desired.

• Proficiency in both German and English is required.

• Willingness to travel regularly to client locations, depending on project demands.
