Senior Consultant, Public Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Facilitate customer workshops to assess, organize, and enhance business requirements within the public sector.

• Connect customer business needs with the technological capabilities offered by the OpenText portfolio.

• Provide guidance to customer-side business and technical decision-makers.

• Create targeted visions, functional concepts, and solution architectures for intricate digital transformation projects.

• Recognize regulatory, organizational, and process-related requirements and integrate them into solution development.

• Collaborate with Presales, Product Management, Engineering, and Delivery teams to guarantee successful project results.

• Specify functional enhancements and customizations.

• Evaluate and document solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Public Administration Informatics, or a similar qualification.

• Several years of experience in the public sector or in projects for clients in public administration.

• Comprehensive understanding of administrative processes, organizational frameworks, and regulatory standards.

• Capability to convert business requirements into technical solutions and articulate technical issues clearly to business units.

• Experience with document management, content management, case management, electronic files, workflow systems, or specialized business applications is beneficial.

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Visual Basic, Java/JavaScript, C#, .NET, HTML, or Python is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication, consulting, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficient in German (native-speaking level).

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany.
