Senior Consultant, OpenShift Infrastructure – Virtualization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Design and implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions prioritizing infrastructure aspects.

• Gain an understanding of how to create production-ready container and virtualization platforms.

• Quickly adapt to new technologies, including container orchestration and cloud storage solutions.

• Travel regularly to collaborate with leading financial services and retail clients.

• Effectively implement intricate, large-scale container platform solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related technical field.

• Proven experience in leading successful modern cloud platform consulting projects.

• Established history of serving in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business leaders.

• Extensive and in-depth technical knowledge of VMware ESXi software.

• Expertise in VMware VM foundational technologies related to networking.

• Expertise in VMware VM foundational technologies related to storage.

• Experience with logging and alerting functionalities for SRE operations using VMware tools.

• Practical knowledge and experience working in agile, scrum, and DevOps environments.

• Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation abilities.

• Willingness to travel to client sites approximately 30-40 weeks each year across North America.
