Senior Consultant – New Gas Fired Plant Build – Mechanical, Power Generation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Lead and assist in the conceptual design and execution of capital projects for power plants.

• Act as the primary contact for owner's engineering services related to new power plant construction projects.

• Conduct mechanical design, oversee capital projects, and select appropriate equipment.

• Provide support for equipment specifications, vendor oversight, and commissioning processes.

• Convert project goals into actionable plans that align with or surpass budget and scheduling expectations.

• Prepare for and facilitate client meetings and technical discussions.

• Offer field support (approximately 15-20%) during project execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (preferably Mechanical).

• 8-15+ years of experience in:

• Power plant design.

• Power plant operations and maintenance.

• Capital project management.

• Proven technical proficiency in mechanical systems of power plants and preliminary design, with the capability to execute projects independently.
