This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver client advisory services and impartial guidance related to Medicaid financing and healthcare policy.

• Oversee a portfolio of supplemental payment and consulting projects in the Northeast region.

• Ensure project management, direct service delivery, and client satisfaction for large, complex, multi-year initiatives.

• Assist Associate Directors and Directors, while guiding Consultants through various project phases and client interactions.

• Establish project objectives and timelines, directing project strategy and problem-solving efforts.

• Execute project tasks, manage implementations, and create client-ready deliverables.

• Act as a primary client contact, addressing inquiries and communications promptly.

• Develop solutions that align with client requirements and convert technical data into clear narratives.

• Anticipate, escalate, and propose solutions for issues concerning service, quality, and risk.

• Prepare for and either lead or partake in internal and external meetings.

• Draft authorizing documentation and responses for state and federal partners.

• Collaborate with technical teams to embed policy decisions into technical and financial documents.

• Oversee internal reporting of team hours and organize client deliverables and project timelines.

• Proactively manage outcomes and foresee client needs.

• Mentor and onboard new Consultants.

• Cultivate professional networks and expertise through stakeholder events and conferences.

• Support sales initiatives and develop marketing content, presentations, website material, and webinars.

• Aid in the development, documentation, and communication of innovative healthcare policy solutions.

• Keep abreast of federal regulations, state-specific laws, and industry trends.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with over 7 years of combined experience in a policy management role, consulting, or the healthcare industry is required.

• Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate relevant work experience in consulting, healthcare operations, or health policy research or analysis.

• 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible work experience, ideally in health or human services policy research, consulting, or healthcare service delivery.

• Experience with Medicaid is preferred.

• Relevant experience in the federal, state, or private healthcare sectors is strongly desired.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint is essential.

• Strong writing, confident presentation, and effective facilitation skills are required.

• Ability to communicate regularly with senior-level clients and government officials.

• Capability to work effectively and utilize internal resources.

• Skill in tailoring communication for various audiences and interacting professionally with clients and external stakeholders.

• Experience in organizing and coordinating the work of others.

• Ability to juggle multiple complex projects and client initiatives simultaneously.

• Focus on achieving long-term objectives.

• Previous experience in project or task management is strongly preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Experience delivering services across multiple projects concurrently.

• Strong time management abilities.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

• Experience in quantitative program evaluation is highly desirable.
