Senior Consultant, Life Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Leading focused secondary research (such as desk research and secondary data analysis) alongside primary research (including interviews with key opinion leaders and insurance payers) with minimal oversight.

• Synthesizing research findings to create logical and effective recommendations that are client-ready.

• Independently managing work streams and/or complete projects, overseeing daily client-facing responsibilities, and ensuring adherence to deliverable deadlines.

• Collaborating closely with senior team members to present findings to clients and support business development initiatives.

• Producing high-quality client communications and deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations and Excel models.

• Conveying verbal and written information in a logical, clear, and concise manner.

• Contributing to the enhancement of the firm’s capabilities and infrastructure by leveraging knowledge and expertise in specific disease areas or project types.

• Demonstrating a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing personal development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively addressing bias.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience at a life science consultancy, with a track record of managing projects and fulfilling consultant-level responsibilities.

• A strong passion for, and understanding of, the dynamics and challenges within the pharma and biotech industries.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficient in communicating verbal and written information in a logical, clear, and concise manner.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
