Senior Consultant, HEOR

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Engagement Managers, Principals, and Partners to address complex client inquiries

• Take full ownership of assigned projects and deliver key components of client engagements

• Implement global and local HEOR projects for clients

• Create global cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models, adapt global models for local contexts, and develop preliminary models for strategic decision-making

• Generate internal resources to facilitate project delivery and proposal development

• Produce external resources such as abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and white papers

• Oversee project execution, formulate project plans, and identify strategies and approaches to client inquiries

• Coordinate client and stakeholder interactions, lead meetings, and provide updates on project execution

• Mentor and review both quantitative and qualitative analyses

• Organize reports, presentations, workshops, and other client deliverables

• Ensure the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of complex deliverables

• Provide guidance and direction to team members

• Assist in business development from lead identification to proposal defense

• Contribute to internal strategic projects, knowledge management, technology systems, and related functions

• Manage, coach, and coordinate Associates and Analysts

• Aid in sales presentations, quotes, and proposals

• Assist in recruitment and oversee the onboarding process for new employees

• Support thought leadership initiatives, publications, conferences, and related projects

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in leading consulting and Life Sciences firms

• In-depth knowledge and experience in designing and constructing economic models, including global cost-effectiveness models (CEMs), cost-utility models, budget impact models (BIMs), local adaptations of global models, and initial CEMs and BIMs

• Strong grasp of HTA submission processes, including NICE, SMC, HAS, G-BA, CDA, among others

• A graduate degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, or Engineering; specialized Master’s degrees in Economics, Health Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or related fields are advantageous

• Experience in managing projects and leading project teams

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for navigating unstructured or ambiguous challenges

• Demonstrated experience in developing economic models using Excel, including VBA

• Familiarity with R, Python, R Shiny, TreeAge, or Simul8 is valued

• Proven project management capabilities, client engagement, deliverable execution, communication, and negotiation skills

• Excellent proficiency in written and verbal English

• Ability to mentor and develop staff

• Capacity to adapt to changing priorities

• Team-oriented and capable of working in a collaborative, multicultural environment
