Senior Consultant, Healthcare Environmental Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee in-depth analysis of intricate operational, financial, and benchmarking data to pinpoint performance deficiencies, opportunities for cost savings, and valuable client insights.

• Create presentations and recommendations suitable for executives that promote operational enhancements, EVS optimization, and demonstrable client results.

• Administer project plans, schedules, deliverables, and workstreams utilizing Vizient project management methodologies to guarantee effective engagement execution.

• Conduct client meetings, collaborative sessions, and presentations with operational and executive leadership teams.

• Act as a trusted advisor on Environmental Services operations, including both in-sourced and outsourced EVS models, labor strategies, and EVS supply optimization.

• Maintain proactive communication with clients to manage expectations, resolve issues, and ensure a superior client experience throughout the engagements.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance client value through further analyses, operational improvement initiatives, and subsequent consulting engagements.

• Collaborate with Principals and Engagement Leaders to assist in business development efforts and position solutions that align with client needs.

• Contribute to the creation of consulting tools, methodologies, standard deliverables, and intellectual capital across the practice.

• Mentor consultants by providing coaching, sharing knowledge, and offering guidance on analytics, data storytelling, and client deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience required.

• Proven experience in supporting Environmental Services operations, initiatives, or consulting engagements required.

• Experience leading or assisting with operational improvement, labor optimization, or cost reduction initiatives required.

• Background in acute care Environmental Services is preferred.

• Experience within a healthcare system, consulting firm, or client-facing consulting environment is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.

• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the capability to convert complex data into actionable insights for both executive and operational audiences.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects, priorities, and client relationships in a dynamic consulting environment.

• Willingness to travel regularly and promptly throughout the year to address clients’ needs and schedules.
