Senior Consultant, GAAP Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Manage the daily operations related to U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed-upon procedures, and special projects.

• Identify issues in accounting, financial statements, and reporting in accordance with professional guidelines, including U.S. GAAP.

• Propose enhancements to business processes based on client operations, procedures, and objectives.

• Foster client relationships and communicate effectively to deliver exceptional client service.

• Supervise and mentor staff through guidance, support, and coaching.

• Assess performance on client engagements.

• Actively engage in internal and external training sessions and networking opportunities.

• Support recruiting efforts, including campus recruitment and recommending qualified candidates.

• Take part in the firm's Employee Referral Bonus Program.

• Exhibit excellent teamwork, a positive demeanor, and strong ethical principles.

• Travel as necessary, although travel requirements are minimal.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

• Master's Degree or other advanced qualifications preferred.

• CPA certification is desirable.

• At least five (5) years of experience delivering attest services in a professional services environment.

• Familiarity with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).

• Knowledge of Public Company Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standards.

• Proven skills in communication, public speaking, client service, relationship-building, personal development, collaboration, and problem-solving.

• Demonstrated initiative and adaptability.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
