Senior Consultant – Epic/Meditech Revenue Cycle – Healthcare Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure and enhance Epic and/or Meditech revenue cycle applications across front-end, middle, and back-end operations.

• Assist with multiple simultaneous Epic and/or Meditech implementation or optimization initiatives.

• Evaluate current workflows and propose Epic/Meditech-supported solutions.

• Develop and test configurations for Epic and/or Meditech, encompassing Patient Access, HIM, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and Resolute applications.

• Facilitate end-user training sessions and create training materials.

• Record technical specifications, workflows, and system configurations.

• Work collaboratively with project teams, client personnel, and technical resources.

• Provide support during go-live activities, including command center assistance and issue resolution.

• Identify and address system-related issues, collaborating with vendors and internal technical teams as necessary.

• Contribute to the knowledge management process and documentation of best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of an Associate's degree is required (preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or a related field).

• At least 4 years of experience in Epic/Meditech revenue cycle in roles focusing on implementation, optimization, or analysis.

• Practical experience in configuring Epic/Meditech revenue cycle applications.

• Familiarity with front-end (registration, scheduling, pre-authorization), middle (charge capture, coding), and back-end (billing, collections, denials) revenue cycle processes.

• Experience in supporting at least one complete Epic/Meditech implementation or a major optimization project.

• Strong understanding of Epic revenue cycle applications including Cadence, Prelude, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, and/or Revenue Guardian and/or Meditech Expanse, Meditech Dream.

• Knowledge of revenue cycle workflows, healthcare reimbursement models, and compliance necessities.

• Proficient in using Epic/Meditech reporting and analytics tools.

• Capability to configure Epic/Meditech workflows, rules, and system settings.
