Senior Consultant – Epic, Patient Access

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist in optimizing Epic Revenue Cycle workflows and system configurations

• Develop and/or finalize specifications for Epic build and testing tasks

• Enhance Real-Time Eligibility (RTE), which includes query chaining, benefit filing, and plan mapping

• Aid in the optimization of the ASA table / Auto Status Assignment for referrals

• Support improvements and automation in registration, authorization, and front-end workflows

• Streamline patient and referral workqueues along with associated Revenue Cycle processes

• Collaborate with client IT teams to facilitate implementation and testing

• Assist healthcare clients in maximizing their EHR technology investments to enhance care delivery, patient outcomes, and profitability

⛳️ Requirements

• Required: Epic Prelude certification

• Required: Practical experience with Epic RTE

• Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, configuration, and optimization is essential

• Must be able to work independently in a remote consulting setting

• Willingness to travel up to 25% for project milestones

• Preferred: Epic RTE certification

• Preferred: Epic Referrals certification

• Preferred: Epic Grand Central certification

• Preferred: Epic Cadence certification

• Experience in registration automation, authorization rules, workqueue optimization, and default filing order automation
