
Senior Consultant, Epic Data & Value-Based Care Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the interpretation, extraction, modeling, validation, and governance of Epic data utilized within an external value-based care analytics platform.
• Act as the main liaison between Epic reporting environments, claims data, existing analytics platforms, and the Azure-based VBC solution.
• Perform current-state data discovery and reconciliation.
• Assist in source selection, data modeling, pipeline development, calculation validation, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support throughout the platform lifecycle.
• Convert Epic data structures and client-specific configurations into dependable, traceable data products.
• Merge Epic data with claims and other external data sources.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, application analysts, business stakeholders, and clinical subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Engage directly with client executives, technical leaders, analysts, and operational stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, healthcare administration, analytics, engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience with Epic Clarity and the Epic Cogito reporting ecosystem.
• Proficient in advanced SQL development and troubleshooting.
• Proven capability to identify and utilize complex Epic tables, joins, identifiers, date fields, and status logic.
• Experienced in data lineage, source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, and record-level validation.
• Skilled in interpreting client-specific Epic configurations and operational workflows.
• Familiar with large healthcare data sets in a relational database environment.
• Ability to translate technical data structures into clear business and analytical definitions.
• Experience collaborating with data engineers, architects, application analysts, business stakeholders, and clinical SMEs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working directly with client executives, technical leaders, analysts, and operational stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
