This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients within state agencies and stakeholders in the healthcare sector.
• Direct health data initiatives, ensuring accountability for project design and the successful execution of client deliverables.
• Manage the content, quality, and precision of all deliverables.
• Assign tasks and oversee cross-functional teams, which include data engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts.
• Define and compose clear, impactful written deliverables.
• Supervise a team of 2-4 Project Managers, including daily management and conducting performance evaluations.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings.
• Create and present national presentations.
• Recognize and pursue opportunities to broaden professional service offerings and penetrate new markets.
• Spearhead business development efforts, which include drafting RFPs and bid proposals.
• Acknowledged national authority in a subject area that aligns with FHC’s strategic priorities.
• Demonstrated success in business development.
• Extensive experience in leading and managing health data projects.
• Proficient in project design and evaluation, with the ability to define project roles and delegate tasks effectively.
• Experience in supervisory and mentoring roles.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, with a capacity to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Proven writing and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to extract insights from complex datasets and recognize trends and key takeaways.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, capable of thriving in a remote work setting.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Attentiveness to the evolving needs of clients.
• Strategic mindset that aligns with business goals.
• Innovative problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• An advanced degree (Master’s of Public Health or similar) is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in leading and managing project teams within the health data or health policy sectors.
• Experience as a direct supervisor.
