Senior Consultant – Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate sections of strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops.

• Set and manage customer expectations effectively.

• Lead technical project teams in delivering consulting service offerings.

• Drive objectives, gather requirements, manage project tasks, milestones, status, dependencies, and timelines to ensure successful and timely delivery of engagements.

• Deconstruct complex problems into manageable components and determine project methodologies.

• Create and refine project deliverables.

• Present deliverables to executive management of clients.

• Define success measures based on outcomes and track scope, schedule, and budget metrics.

• Support business development efforts through client discovery meetings and preliminary proposals.

• Identify opportunities for follow-on and expansion, co-authoring viewpoints and market-facing content.

• Represent service offerings during sales processes, including project scoping, proposal development, and client presentations.

• Establish and nurture relationships with senior clients and C-suite executives, facilitating consensus and managing challenging client discussions.

• Evaluate client technology landscapes to identify and prioritize value-creation opportunities.

• Develop and maintain components of business cases, including cost/benefit analysis, ROI, and TCO inputs.

• Enhance AHEAD Advisory consulting and deployment services.

• Act as a technology thought leader and advocate.

• Stay informed about current and emerging IT trends, technologies, and standards.

• Contribute analytical content to at least one published thought-leadership asset each year.

• Provide guidance to clients on digital transformation, cloud platforms, and enterprise technology strategies.

• Mentor team members.

• Oversee day-to-day work across one or more client workstreams and collaborate with other workstream leaders.

• Address daily project issues and risks.

• Collaborate with the team to generate proposals and serve as a liaison between clients and delivery teams.

• Maintain close communication with clients throughout project phases.

• Secure management approval for significant program changes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience as a senior information technology leader, with at least six years in executive technology consulting.

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; an MBA is advantageous.

• Capability to decompose complex, ambiguous problems into structured, actionable workstreams.

• Proven experience as a technology change agent, leading teams through intricate technology-driven initiatives.

• Proficient understanding of proposal development and the consulting sales cycle.

• Experience in managing client relationships with executive and C-suite stakeholders.

• Demonstrated business acumen, including insights into client industries, operating models, and strategic priorities.

• Strong executive presence and polished presentation abilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and active listening skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse personalities.
