This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Drive significant business outcomes by engaging stakeholders to meet sales targets, including formulating collaborative go-to-market (GTM) strategies and enhancing revenue through partnerships.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in connectivity, offering technical assistance, troubleshooting API integrations, and ensuring alignment between partners and internal systems.
• Cultivate an in-depth understanding of technical integrations involving Property Management Systems, Channel Managers, and Central Reservation Systems to deliver focused client support.
• Utilize data to uncover strategic opportunities and propel sales growth.
• Collaborate across functions: Partner with Product, Engineering, Enterprise Accounts, and Field Operations teams to synchronize partner initiatives.
• Inform clients about product updates and relay partner insights to internal stakeholders.
• Establish and manage effective troubleshooting workflows, escalating issues as necessary.
• Recognize trends in data and feedback to enhance services and products.
• Assist your team in defining and executing the global connectivity roadmap and standards for the Hotels supply team.
• Aid in the creation of technical communication documents, including policies, procedures, and presentations.
• Over 10 years of experience in a Connectivity or Technical Partner Manager position.
• More than 5 years of experience in a direct partner-facing commercial account management role, focusing on strategic, complex, and high-value technical partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality and travel software.
• Proficiency in SQL, Sumo Logic, and Excel.
• Robust technical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders up to the C-suite, including in-person presentation proficiency.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong quantitative abilities with a demonstrated capacity to use data for informed decision-making.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, projects, and deadlines.
• A passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy—experience as an Airbnb host is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Japanese is mandatory.
• No relocation and visa support provided.
