This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Develop industry-leading conceptual work, ranging from initial storyboards and visual explorations to proof-of-concept frames and polished final creative outputs.
β’ Oversee and manage multi-disciplinary creativity across various domains including broadcast graphics, video editing, motion design, animation, live action, digital, social media, and experiential projects.
β’ Lead, mentor, and collaborate with extensive, multi-layered creative teams.
β’ Direct strategic creative systems, visual toolkits, and design frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability, and sustained success.
β’ Spearhead advanced motion design and animation production.
β’ Conceptualize, direct, and facilitate live-action shoots, which includes creative development, production planning, and post-production execution.
β’ Prepare and deliver creative briefs, concepts, and strategic insights to internal teams, senior leadership, external partners, and stakeholders.
β’ Drive creative excellence and innovation in AR, VR, XR, real-time graphics, and emerging storytelling formats.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholder groups across ESPN and Disney.
β’ Mentor, coach, and uplift emerging designers, animators, and artists.
β’ Keep abreast of design trends, emerging technologies, sports media, visual storytelling, and industry best practices.
β’ A robust portfolio showcasing high-level concept development, art direction, visual storytelling, and refined design execution.
β’ Proven capability to transform strategic objectives, brand systems, and creative briefs into engaging visual concepts.
β’ Experience in developing creative from initial exploration to final execution, including storyboards, mood boards, proof-of-concept frames, style frames, and design systems.
β’ Strong grasp of composition, typography, color theory, layout, motion principles, and visual hierarchy.
β’ Experience in design, animation, motion graphics, video, or 3D concept development.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with creative directors, designers, animators, editors, producers, stakeholders, and external partners.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
β’ Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-visibility creative environment.
β’ A keen interest in emerging creative tools, technologies, design trends, and evolving production workflows.
β’ High School Diploma.
β’ Preferred: Experience in creating high-end 3D concepts, style frames, visual systems, or proof-of-concept work for broadcast, sports, entertainment, or live-event storytelling.
β’ Preferred: Background in contributing to large-scale tentpole events, premium broadcast packages, or high-profile brand initiatives.
β’ Preferred: Advanced proficiency in Cinema 4D, Houdini, Unreal Engine, Redshift, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar creative platforms.
β’ Preferred: Strong experience in motion design, animation, editing, or live-action production.
β’ Preferred: Experience in building creative systems, toolkits, or scalable design frameworks across various platforms.
β’ Preferred: Experience in mentoring, coaching, or providing creative direction to designers, animators, or multidisciplinary creative teams.
β’ Preferred: A passion for sports, culture, technology, innovation, and the future of visual storytelling.
