Senior Compliance Analyst

📋 Description

• Support the upkeep of Centene Corporation’s Compliance Program.

• Offer regulatory interpretation and carry out compliance reporting.

• Spearhead special projects.

• Design and implement strategies for compliance auditing and monitoring.

• Address external inquiries for information needed for regulatory submissions.

• Oversee compliance reporting and respond to inquiries from state and federal regulatory agencies.

• Manage ethics and compliance initiatives or implementations.

• Review and synthesize regulatory requirements to formulate policy or position statements.

• Assist in the annual code of conduct attestation and remediation process.

• Relay state and federal requirements to both internal and external clients.

• Create, implement, and sustain compliance policies, procedures, and work instructions.

• Identify, analyze, and resolve compliance-related issues.

• Maintain and review regulatory documentation.

• Develop, produce, and deliver compliance training programs.

• Conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring activities.

• Support health plans with relationships to regulatory agencies and policy matters.

• Assist management with interim responsibilities of health plan compliance officer.

• Coordinate the implementation of Compliance Committee policies.

• Act as a company-wide resource and liaison regarding policies, contracts, communications, workflow, and quality enhancements.

• For Pennsylvania Health & Wellness, oversee FWA risk and trend tracking, coordinate cross-functional fraud workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, lead the monthly fraud workgroup, submit the quarterly MCO FWA report, and liaise with DHS Bureau of Program Integrity and the OAG.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant legal field or equivalent experience is required.

• A Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate is preferred and may be considered in lieu of experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of related experience in compliance, privacy, and/or regulatory affairs is necessary.

• Experience in project management is essential.

• Familiarity with laws and/or regulations related to compliance, especially HIPAA and state regulations, is required.

• CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) certification is needed for Pennsylvania Health & Wellness responsibilities.
