This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the management of direct compensation, which includes processing, documenting, and reporting compensation-related activities for both salaried and hourly employees.
β’ Develop consistent compensation guidelines and programs that align with our compensation philosophy and organizational culture.
β’ Create and review job descriptions and wage grade classifications.
β’ Analyze and provide insights for new hire offers, promotions, and internal transfers.
β’ Offer guidance to management on pay decisions, policy interpretation, and job evaluation, including the development of innovative solutions for specific compensation-related issues.
β’ Engage in and conduct salary surveys, analyzing survey data and maintaining the salary survey database.
β’ Stay informed about legal, regulatory, and legislative developments related to corporate governance and compensation.
β’ Conduct external market benchmarking and internal equity analysis.
β’ Ensure that compensation practices comply with current federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
β’ Support the Human Resources Team and other business partners across the organization with compensation-related inquiries.
β’ Act as a resource for hiring managers regarding compensation-related questions.
β’ Responsible for providing and maintaining compensation and benefits data in the Workday HRIS system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
β’ Remain updated on trends and best practices within the compensation field.
β’ Minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources.
β’ Proven experience in job analysis, evaluation, and wage grade structure design.
β’ Expertise in compensation research and data analysis in relation to compliance requirements.
β’ Experience in benefits administration is required.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field is necessary.
β’ SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR Certification is preferred and encouraged.
β’ Ability to effectively manage changing priorities and deadlines, often in a dynamic environment with frequent interruptions.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of human resources functions along with state and federal employment regulations.
β’ Capable of reading and interpreting company policies and procedures; analyzing market survey data and identifying trends; presenting information clearly and concisely; exercising tact and diplomacy while maintaining confidentiality.
β’ Demonstrated experience with Workday and Payfactors.
β’ Proficient in utilizing software applications for daily business operations; super-user capability is preferred.
β’ A strong passion for customer service (both internal and external) coupled with excellent influencing skills.
