This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Accountable for the development, administration, and upkeep of compensation programs that align with our compensation philosophy.
• Collaborate with the business to facilitate the attraction and retention of talent.
• Assess requests to establish fair and suitable titles, salary ranges, pay rates, exemption assignments, and benefit levels.
• Oversee projects related to strategic initiatives in compensation.
• Work effectively with other HR team members and provide consultancy to supervisors and staff across all locations.
• Manage the administration of direct compensation, including the processing, recording, and reporting of compensation-related actions for both salaried and hourly employees.
• Develop consistent compensation guidelines and programs that reflect our compensation philosophy and organizational culture.
• Create and evaluate job descriptions and wage grade classifications.
• Analyze and offer recommendations for new hire offers, promotions, and internal transfers.
• Advise management on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation, including crafting innovative solutions to specific compensation-related issues.
• Engage in and conduct salary surveys, including analyzing survey data and maintaining the salary survey database.
• Stay updated on legal, regulatory, and legislative trends related to corporate governance and compensation.
• Conduct external market benchmarking analysis and internal equity analysis.
• Ensure compliance of compensation practices with current federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
• Support the Human Resources Team and other business partners across the organization with compensation-related concerns.
• Act as a resource for hiring managers' inquiries regarding compensation.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining compensation and benefit-related data in the Workday HRIS system, ensuring that the system is updated with accurate information.
• 4 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Experience in job analysis, evaluation, and wage grade structure design is essential.
• Proficiency in compensation research and data analysis as it pertains to compliance requirements is required.
• Experience in benefit administration is necessary.
• A BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field is required.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR Certification is preferred and encouraged.
• Demonstrated experience in using Workday and Payfactors is essential.
