This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee the administration of direct compensation, which includes processing, recording, and reporting actions related to compensation for both salaried and hourly employees.
• Develop consistent compensation guidelines and programs that align with our compensation philosophy and organizational culture.
• Create and evaluate job descriptions along with wage grade classifications.
• Analyze and offer recommendations for new hire offers, promotions, and internal transfers.
• Advise management on pay decisions, interpretation of policies and guidelines, and job evaluations.
• Engage in and conduct salary surveys, including analyzing survey data and maintaining the salary survey database.
• Ensure adherence to current federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
• Act as a resource for hiring managers regarding compensation-related inquiries.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Human Resources.
• Experience in job analysis, evaluation, and wage grade structure design is required.
• Familiarity with compensation research and data analysis as it pertains to compliance requirements is essential.
• Experience in benefits administration is necessary.
• A BS/BA degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field is required.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR Certification is preferred and encouraged.
• Demonstrated experience using Workday and Payfactors is required.
• Capable of functioning well under shifting priorities and deadlines with frequent interruptions.
• Comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of human resources functions and both state and federal employment regulations.
• Ability to analyze market survey data and recognize trends is necessary.
• Strong ability to present information clearly and concisely.
• A passion for customer service (both internal and external) and strong influencing skills are essential.
