This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Oversee the design, redesign, implementation, and continuous evaluation of comprehensive compensation programs and policies.
• Create innovative compensation strategies that align with business goals, talent management, workforce planning, and market competitiveness.
• Assess emerging market trends and suggest improvements to compensation structures, programs, and processes.
• Act as a strategic compensation advisor to HR Business Partners and business leaders across various functions and regions.
• Offer insights on pay structures, market positioning, pay equity, salary administration, incentive programs, job architecture, organizational design support, and talent retention strategies.
• Lead market analysis and benchmarking initiatives to evaluate compensation competitiveness and identify emerging trends.
• Convert complex compensation data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Conduct financial and workforce analyses that aid in the development of compensation strategies and support executive decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance on compensation cost projections, budget forecasts, business cases, and scenario modeling.
• Assist in annual compensation planning and long-term workforce investment strategies.
• Manage large-scale compensation and Total Rewards initiatives from inception to execution.
• Create project plans, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure successful implementation outcomes.
• Prepare presentations, business cases, and recommendations for senior leaders and executive audiences.
• Deliver compensation analyses, market trends, program recommendations, and strategic proposals to leadership teams.
• Effectively communicate complex compensation concepts to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, including the design and consulting of broad-based compensation programs.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing new compensation programs, frameworks, or processes.
• Experience collaborating with Finance on compensation budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience presenting compensation strategies and recommendations to senior leadership audiences.
• Comprehensive understanding of compensation principles, market pricing, salary structures, incentive design, and compensation governance.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Strategic compensation consulting and advisory expertise.
• Proficient in executive presentation and storytelling skills.
• Expertise in market intelligence and competitive benchmarking.
• Strong capabilities in financial and quantitative analysis.
• Ability to influence and manage stakeholders across all organizational levels.
• Experience in change management and program implementation.
• Global compensation experience in a multinational organization.
• Advanced proficiency in compensation tools, survey data, Excel, and business analytics platforms.
