This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Implement, manage, and enhance our compensation and benefits programs.
• Oversee daily analysis, execution, and communication of global pay and benefits.
• Establish a fair, equitable, and competitive total compensation and benefits package that aligns with our company's strategy, business objectives, and talent requirements.
• Develop a consistent compensation philosophy that reflects our work culture and organizational goals.
• Utilize various methods and techniques to make data-driven decisions regarding direct financial, indirect financial, and nonfinancial compensation plans.
• Assist the Training & Resourcing team with recruitment and talent management efforts.
• Collaborate with the Finance team on budgets, year-end bonus incentive payment processes, and financial analysis of all compensation and benefit plans.
• Work with the Legal team to ensure that compensation and benefit programs comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Participate in salary and labor market surveys to assess prevailing pay rates and benefits.
• Conduct ongoing research and report on emerging trends, issues, and best practices.
• Evaluate competitors' compensation and benefits plans and recommend enhancements to our existing offerings.
• Provide subject matter expertise and support to key stakeholders, including department heads, local country management, legal, finance, and training & resourcing teams, on various compensation and benefit matters.
• Experience with Workday Core and Advanced Compensation modules, including configuration, data management, and annual cycle support.
• Strong Excel proficiency, including advanced data analysis for compensation insights and reporting.
• Solid understanding of compensation data submission processes, including annual submissions and spot surveys.
• Practical experience with Mercer and BDO compensation surveys, encompassing data preparation, validation, and submission.
• Proven ability in job matching and benchmarking, utilizing job libraries and market data from multiple sources.
• Familiarity with various benchmarking methodologies to ensure market competitiveness and internal alignment.
• Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large datasets and convert insights into actionable outcomes.
• Structured and process-oriented approach to compensation operations.
• Effective collaboration with HR, Reward, and business stakeholders.
• Preferred experience in a tech or pharma high-growth environment, managing compensation and reward programs in a global, large-scale corporate setting.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally with a post-graduate qualification in a related field.
• Full working proficiency in English.
• Certified Compensation Professional Certification is a plus.
