This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and execute a scalable deal desk process encompassing standard, non-standard, and enterprise deal structures.
• Establish and uphold an approval authority matrix in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Sales leadership.
• Oversee all order form templates, ensuring version control and field-level standards within Salesforce/CPQ.
• Create and sustain deal desk SLAs, escalation paths, and exception handling documentation.
• Guarantee that accurate opportunity data (product, pricing, terms, start/end dates) is recorded prior to closure.
• Collaborate with Finance on revenue recognition inputs, ensuring the quality of billings data and reporting on bookings attainment.
• Manage the transition protocol between Sales closure and Finance/Billing to minimize rework and booking errors.
• Work alongside SalesOps and RevOps systems to enhance automation throughout deal intake and closure workflows.
• Calculate, verify, and distribute all commission and incentive payouts on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Administer the commission tool (e.g., Spiff); oversee plan configurations and employee lifecycle adjustments.
• Finalize commission data for payroll processing while maintaining SOX-compliant controls.
• Investigate and resolve disputes in a timely manner, documenting findings and reporting trends to leadership.
• Assist in the design of annual incentive plans in partnership with Finance, Sales, and HR.
• Offer data-driven recommendations regarding compensation structures and deal economics.
• Serve as a trusted partner to Sales, Finance, Legal, and Payroll, bridging deal structure and sales rewards.
• Develop and maintain thorough process documentation across both functions.
• 7–10+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Finance Operations.
• Demonstrated experience in deal desk operations, including order form management and approval governance.
• Proficiency in managing sales commissions end-to-end (calculation, disputes, accruals).
• Familiarity with commission platforms (Spiff, CaptivateIQ, Xactly).
• Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, including opportunity data, CPQ, and reporting.
• Strong instincts for process design; capable of building from the ground up with minimal existing structure.
• Exceptional cross-functional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in a B2B SaaS or technology company with subscription and/or consumption billing.
• Exposure to CPQ tools (Salesforce CPQ, DealHub, etc.).
