This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the ongoing analysis of player and revenue performance across the organization, encompassing:
• - Trends in retention and reactivation across various cohorts (by product, acquisition source, and player segment)
• - Cohort payback and lifetime value, providing a clear understanding of how quickly and sustainably we generate value
• - Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) and value distribution among sportsbook, casino, and cross-product players
• - The influence of bonuses and promotions on both short-term activities and long-term value
• Conduct analyses throughout the entire player lifecycle:
• - From acquisition to onboarding, early engagement, and long-term retention
• - Identifying points where players disengage and where value is created or lost
• Dissect performance across crucial verticals and levers:
• - Sportsbook: staking behavior, margin dynamics, event-level engagement, promotional effects
• - Casino: game mix, session frequency, cross-sell dynamics, revenue consistency
• - Retention & Promotions: assessing how incentives, features, and experiences affect engagement, frequency, and long-term value
• Comprehend how commercial activities translate into product performance:
• - Examining how the quality of acquisition impacts retention and lifetime value (LTV)
• - Understanding how onboarding and initial experiences influence long-term behaviors
• - Analyzing how incentives and features affect engagement, frequency, and value beyond immediate gains
• Assist in evaluating and supporting key commercial and product initiatives, including:
• - Free-to-play games as drivers for retention and engagement
• - Frameworks for rewards and loyalty (e.g., progression systems, incentives, VIP mechanics)
• - Promotional mechanisms such as prize draws and campaigns
• - Launches in new markets and territories
• Define and measure success effectively:
• - Establishing clear KPIs from the outset
• - Monitoring performance after launch
• - Identifying successful strategies and areas that require evolution
• Determine the factors driving changes in key metrics:
• - Clearly explaining shifts in retention, revenue, and payback in a structured manner
• - Differentiating between short-term impacts and sustainable enhancements
• Translate analyses into clear, actionable guidance:
• - Identifying focus areas to enhance performance
• - Recognizing necessary changes in product, retention, or promotions
• - Assisting teams in prioritizing initiatives with the most significant impact
• Essential experience in iGaming or betting
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in commercial, analytics, or strategy positions
• Strong understanding of player economics and lifecycle metrics (retention, LTV, payback, ARPU, etc.)
• Proven capability to convert analysis into clear, actionable insights
• Extensive hands-on experience with data and BI tools
• Proficient in using tools like Omni, Looker, Tableau (or similar) to independently explore data and perform analysis
• Comfortable collaborating across multiple teams (product, marketing, trading, finance)
• Excellent communication skills — able to simplify complex issues into structured explanations
• Collaborative mindset — working with teams to enhance performance rather than just reporting
• Methodical thinker with a keen attention to detail
• Experience in both sportsbook and casino sectors (Nice to have)
• SQL proficiency or experience working closely with data teams (Nice to have)
• Familiarity with lifecycle and retention mechanics (Nice to have)
