This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of Destinus’ global partnership strategy as a key driver for market entry, sovereign alignment, and industrial scalability.
• Oversee and manage system integration partnerships that facilitate NATO-compliant and client-specific architectures.
• Take charge of capability partnerships that assist seekers, interceptors, networking, payloads, and essential subsystems.
• Manage industrial collaborations and manufacturing alliances to promote scalable production, localization, cost reduction trajectories, and supply chain robustness.
• Assist in the assessment, structuring, and commercial negotiation of joint ventures and long-term industrial collaborations.
• Aid in developing business cases for strategic projects such as joint ventures, local industrialization, and co-production in regions outside core markets.
• Evaluate market trends, procurement frameworks, and the competitive environment to pinpoint strategic opportunities and partnerships.
• Cultivate and sustain a portfolio of high-value B2B relationships with defense primes, integrators, and sovereign industrial collaborators.
• Create account-level relationship strategies for key partners in line with the commercial roadmap and program goals.
• Act as the senior commercial liaison for partner organizations, ensuring trust, transparency, and shared value creation.
• Identify opportunities to broaden partnership scopes, including cross-selling, co-development, and integration of new capabilities.
• Collaborate with various internal stakeholders (including Legal, M&A, Finance, Engineering, Production) to ensure that proposed partnerships are viable, compliant, and aligned with product roadmaps.
• Provide market insights to improve future product capabilities.
• MBA or advanced degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in commercial partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances within the defense, aerospace, or related high-tech sectors.
• Proven track record of structuring and negotiating complex partnership agreements, joint ventures, or industrial collaboration deals.
• In-depth knowledge of the European and NATO-aligned defense-industrial landscape, including procurement frameworks, offset requirements, and sovereign industrial policies.
• Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills in multicultural, multi-jurisdictional settings.
• Experience with hypersonic technology, missile defense, advanced weapon systems, or dual-use technology programs, along with familiarity with export control regimes (such as ITAR, EAR, EU dual-use regulations) is a plus.
• Proficiency in at least two European languages (English required; preference for German, with knowledge of French or Spanish considered an asset).
