
Senior Commercial Deal Desk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives, Sales Managers, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations on intricate, non-standard, high-impact transactions.
• Provide guidance on deal structures, pricing, terms, discounting, approvals, amendments, renewals, co-terms, ramps, bundled products, and other commercial factors.
• Review and process deal submissions using Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud.
• Ensure that quotes and contracts are precise, comprehensive, and prepared for approval and invoicing.
• Establish the foundations of the Commercial Deal Desk, including intake procedures, approval routing, discount governance, exception management, SLAs, and documentation.
• Develop playbooks, training resources, office hour sessions, and practical guidance for sales teams.
• Enhance workflows through automation, AI tools, and CPQ configurations.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Utilize deal data and KPIs to pinpoint bottlenecks, enhance deal quality, and propose adjustments that support efficient, sustainable growth.
• Report directly to the Senior Manager, Deal Desk.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Commercial Finance, or a related role within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Practical experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud.
• Experience in resolving complex quoting and cross-object issues.
• Strong comprehension of commercial deal structures, including ARR, multi-year agreements, amendments, renewals, co-terms, ramps, stub billing, bundled products, and discounting.
• Proven ability to develop or enhance processes, documentation, approval workflows, and commercial policies.
• Strong commercial judgment that balances customer and seller requirements with pricing discipline, revenue integrity, and business risk.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Capability to clearly explain complex commercial concepts.
• Experience with AI, automation, or workflow tools is preferred.
