Senior Commercial Assurance Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct independent control assessments on all pertinent SOC 2 categories and their associated criteria, while also identifying and comprehending SOC 1 control objectives, as well as auditing ISO/IEC 27001 Management Clauses 4-10 and Annex A controls.

• Review, analyze, and assess information system boundaries through interviews, descriptions, and diagrams.

• Create engagement testing plans, which include interview schedules, information requests, and workpapers.

• Complete the necessary AICPA documents and workpapers to support SOC engagements.

• Fulfill the audit documentation requirements for ISO/IEC 27001.

• Conduct interviews with key stakeholders and technical staff.

• Take meeting minutes and maintain work papers.

• Generate final SOC reports and ISO certification audit deliverables.

• Manage project priorities, tasks, and assigned hours to meet delivery utilization targets.

• Perform project out briefs with clients to inform them of the results of their compliance activities.

• Build and sustain positive collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Mentor junior staff on effective interviewing, examination, and testing techniques to fulfill SOC and ISO requirements.

• Pursue industry-specific certifications and engage in continuous professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in professional services.

• More than 3 years of consulting experience assessing systems against SOC and ISO standards.

• Strong technical knowledge related to cloud security.

• Familiarity with IaaS providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.

• Comprehensive understanding of all SOC 2 categories and associated criteria, in addition to ISO/IEC 27001 Management Clauses 4-10 and Annex A controls.
