This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Actively drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and devising strategies to penetrate top-tier accounts in Portugal.
• Proactively seek and pursue opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients, maximizing account revenue and profitability.
• Manage and cultivate key customer relationships to ensure optimal satisfaction and retention, fostering long-term strategic partnerships.
• Utilize data insights, customer intentions, and adoption history to effectively prospect new clients and enhance retention strategies, resulting in improved conversion rates in the new business pipeline and increased retention and expansion of existing clients in Portugal.
• Develop quarterly territory plans with strategies and actionable tactics designed to increase our market share.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of Zendesk products and align them with clients’ business objectives to secure product expansion and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Lead complex, value-driven sales cycles, including multi-month deals with proof of concept stages, particularly with customers generating substantial revenue.
• Consistently build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and maintain an accurate sales forecast to surpass quarterly and annual revenue goals.
• Establish and nurture C-level executive sponsorship, utilizing your industry expertise to develop relationships with decision-makers and champions.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and leadership to refine sales strategies and enhance sales execution.
• Negotiate and finalize complex deals, employing a consultative approach and leveraging your exceptional communication skills to present compelling business cases and value propositions.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Zendesk solutions, staying updated with the competitive landscape and industry trends.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience in cloud/software B2B / AI sales or solution engineering, with at least 4 years of experience and a proven history of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong and consistent track record of meeting targets and achieving quotas.
• Expertise in navigating complex sales cycles and renewals, including multi-month, value-driven processes with proof of concept stages.
• A successful history of selling to C-level executives.
• Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
• Experience in creating and utilizing territory and account plans.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to personal and professional development.
• Familiarity with essential sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Clari, Seismic, and Looker.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.
• Native proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
