This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Propel top-line revenue growth by attracting new commercial clients and formulating innovative strategies for account development.

• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships to ensure maximum satisfaction and retention while fostering long-term strategic alliances.

• Actively identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell additional products and services to current clients to enhance account revenue and profitability.

• Utilize data insights, customer intentions, and adoption history to effectively prospect new clients and improve retention strategies, resulting in higher conversion rates in the new business pipeline and increased retention and expansion of existing accounts.

• Comprehend and communicate the advantages of Zendesk products, ensuring alignment with customers’ business goals to guarantee customer satisfaction and product growth.

• Manage intricate and competitive sales cycles by employing strong communication skills and value-based selling to present compelling business cases.

• Continuously build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and maintain an accurate forecast to surpass quarterly and annual revenue targets.

• Establish and uphold executive sponsorship, leveraging industry expertise to foster relationships with decision-makers and advocates.

• Collaborate with internal teams to refine sales strategies and optimize sales execution.

• Surpass revenue objectives on a quarterly and annual basis by utilizing weekly and monthly KPIs.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales or solution engineering experience, preferably in the SaaS industry, with a demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets.

• Proficiency in navigating complex sales cycles and renewals, including multi-month, value-centric processes with proof of concept stages.

• Experience in managing and growing customer relationships at various organizational levels.

• Outstanding presentation, negotiation, and deal-closing abilities.

• Experience in selling to VP and C-level executives both in person and via remote technology.

• An entrepreneurial mindset, strong collaboration abilities, and a commitment to continuous professional growth.

• In-depth knowledge of industry trends and the capacity to build relationships with key decision-makers.

• Experience in creating and utilizing territory and account plans.

• Familiarity with essential sales tools such as Salesforce, Clari, etc.

• Willingness to travel as needed.
