Senior Commerce – Digital Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Serve as a trusted advisor and expert in digital commerce and omnichannel strategies.

• Assess business challenges related to digital commerce, omnichannel experiences, customer experience, and commercial performance.

• Develop digital commerce strategies, transformation roadmaps, operating models, and future state visions.

• Provide guidance to clients on customer journeys, transactional processes, and digital engagement frameworks.

• Conduct discovery workshops and facilitate stakeholder alignment sessions.

• Convert business objectives into initiatives aimed at revenue growth, conversion enhancement, customer retention, and overall business value.

• Assist in designing and implementing solutions across eCommerce, CMS, CRM, CDP, Search, and other related platforms.

• Collaborate with architects, product teams, and technical experts to ensure alignment of business goals with technological solutions.

• Prioritize initiatives and strategic backlogs based on their business value.

• Establish and track KPIs related to acquisition, conversion, average order value, retention, and customer lifetime value.

• Facilitate change management, adoption initiatives, governance models, operational frameworks, and best practices.

• Build expertise, share knowledge, and contribute to accelerators, assets, value propositions, and thought leadership.

• Mentor junior consultants and work alongside multidisciplinary teams in business, product, design, and technology.

• Identify opportunities for Commerce & Digital business development and assist in proposals, scoping, and client presentations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in digital commerce, eCommerce consulting, digital strategy, or digital transformation.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering comprehensive commerce, omnichannel, or customer experience projects in consulting, agency, or professional services settings.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• In-depth understanding of eCommerce platforms, CMS, CRM, CDP, OMS, and Search solutions.

• Experience in developing digital strategies, transformation roadmaps, and operational models.

• Capability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Familiarity with customer experience, customer journeys, and principles of conversion optimization.

• Proficient in utilizing data, metrics, and KPIs to inform decisions and evaluate success.

• Skills in workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, and discovery processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, consulting, communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.

• Experience collaborating within cross-functional teams in business, product, and technology domains.

• Ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders effectively.

• Experience in Agile and Scrum delivery methodologies.

• Proactive, adaptable, results-driven attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English and French.
