This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Define the comprehensive architecture for CMS/DXP solutions within a multi-site framework.
• Convert business, UX, and content needs into a scalable technical architecture.
• Establish content models, reusable components, templates, and multi-site structures.
• Lead CMS setup and implementation while reducing unnecessary customizations.
• Formulate the strategy for migrating a significant existing content repository from a legacy enterprise CMS.
• Define integration strategies with identity management, analytics, search, and other enterprise systems.
• Conduct technical design evaluations and set development standards.
• Mentor full-stack developers and assess implementation quality.
• Implement security-by-design principles throughout the solution.
• Collaborate with DevOps/SRE experts on cloud architecture, environments, and CI/CD processes.
• Address requirements for performance, scalability, monitoring, logging, and operations.
• Assist with technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and readiness for production.
• Describe 2–3 enterprise CMS projects that you have personally architected or led, detailing the source and target CMS, number of sites, approximate scale, and specific responsibilities.
• Over 10 years of experience in software/solution architecture, with significant expertise in CMS/DXP.
• Successfully led at least 2 major enterprise CMS implementations or re-platforming projects.
• Proficient in designing multi-site/multi-brand CMS architectures.
• Familiarity with modern headless or hybrid CMS architectures.
• Extensive experience in cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and contemporary software delivery methodologies.
• Strong grasp of web security, privacy, RBAC, SSO/identity, and observability.
• Experience in large-scale automated and manual content migrations.
• Proven track record of working alongside UX, content, and design-system teams rather than solely as a backend architect.
• Strong client-facing communication abilities and technical leadership skills.
• Experience in architecting or leading 2–3 enterprise CMS projects, detailing the source and target CMS, number of sites, approximate scale, and specific responsibilities.
