Senior Cloud System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the onboarding process, construction, configuration, and implementation of secure, cost-effective, high-performance cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform utilizing platform tools.

• Drive and execute intricate cloud migrations, transitioning mission-critical healthcare workloads from legacy systems to contemporary cloud architectures.

• Own technical milestones for Professional Services engagements, ensuring timely delivery, architectural consistency, and adherence to quality standards.

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions utilizing Terraform or native cloud templates.

• Ensure that cloud deployments conform to healthcare compliance frameworks and internal security protocols.

• Develop thorough technical documentation.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to facilitate smooth operational transitions to frontline teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or advanced systems administration.

• In-depth, practical expertise in at least one major public cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with the ability and eagerness to architect and troubleshoot across all three.

• Expert-level knowledge in complex networking, identity and access management, and advanced operating system administration for both Linux and Windows.

• Advanced skills in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Experience in constructing infrastructure automation pipelines.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with project managers, providing clear technical updates, realistic timeline estimates, and strategic insights during client calls.

• Professional-level certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are highly preferred.
