Senior Cloud Network Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and architecture of network solutions utilizing AWS

• Create and contribute to comprehensive documentation

• Develop and implement strategies for migrating from on-premises to AWS

• Establish and enforce network security measures

• Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure networking meets workload performance requirements

• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in hybrid network environments

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to streamline AWS network provisioning

• Maintain adherence to governance, security, and operational best practices

• Perform testing, validation, and optimization of network performance

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale AWS networking

• Extensive hands-on experience with Site-to-Site VPN and AWS Direct Connect

• Proven experience in migrating workloads from on-premises environments to AWS

• Advanced proficiency in Terraform

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across hybrid environments

• Solid understanding of other Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as Azure and/or Google Cloud

• Some familiarity with Catalyst/Nexus and/or Meraki MX platforms is advantageous.
