Senior Cloud Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain secure, scalable cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Engineer hybrid cloud connectivity solutions, including VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and cloud routing architectures.

• Implement and oversee enterprise DNS, load balancing, segmentation, and traffic management solutions.

• Support modernization efforts involving cloud-native and software-defined networking technologies.

• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions utilizing Terraform and Ansible.

• Construct and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and automation workflows.

• Create Python-based automation solutions and API integrations.

• Standardize cloud provisioning, deployment, and operational processes through automation.

• Support Kubernetes platforms, including AKS, EKS, and GKE environments.

• Assist with Kubernetes networking, ingress, service connectivity, and infrastructure integrations.

• Collaborate with platform engineering and development teams to enhance cloud-native operations.

• Support scalable and resilient containerized infrastructure solutions.

• Implement best practices for cloud networking and infrastructure security.

• Support firewall, segmentation, and access control strategies across cloud and hybrid environments.

• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

• Enhance operational visibility, reliability, and efficiency through automation and monitoring.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

• Participate in architecture reviews and infrastructure planning initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security, DevOps, Development, and Operations.

• Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies related to requirements.

• Identify and escalate security risks to the relevant Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure engineering.

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

• Strong expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.

• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Python.

• Hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes environments (AKS, EKS, or GKE).

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, DNS, VPN technologies, Firewalls, and network security principles.

• Experience in supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
