Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create and execute contemporary cloud architectures within Microsoft Azure, emphasizing AI and data.

• Design Azure architectures, especially leveraging Azure AI Foundry and Databricks.

• Continuously improve AI and data platforms.

• Ensure dependable functioning of AI and data systems.

• Act as a technical liaison for business units and AI managers regarding artificial intelligence and data.

• Document solutions and deliverables in a systematic and clear manner.

• Contribute innovative ideas in a global setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid technical knowledge of networking, including public/private IPs, subnets, VNets, and DNS.

• Understanding of role and permission models, including RBAC.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing cloud architectures using Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.

• Proficient in German language.

• Excellent command of the English language.

• Independent, organized, and solution-focused work approach.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Experience with Terraform and Databricks is advantageous.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker, is beneficial.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework is a plus.

• Understanding of generative AI and its distinctions from traditional machine learning applications is a plus.

• Experience with web technologies, particularly protocols, certificates, APIs, authentication, and authorization, is an advantage.
